Aamina Ahmed manages statewide programs for New American Leaders in Michigan as well as the national New American Fellows program. Her deep commitment to creating spaces where everyone feels like they truly belong led Aamina to a multitude of community groups and nonprofits. She previously led Asian Pacific Islander American Vote Michigan and was in charge of Databases and Donor Stewardship at the Institute for Social Policy and Understanding (ISPU). A self-avowed nerd with an educational background in Molecular Evolution, Aamina knows the power of combining data and targeted use of resources with the invaluable art of building authentic relationships.
