Mayra Guadalupe Cedano Robles is the Community Engagement and Organizing Director at Comunidades Unidas. She joined the CU team nine years ago and she feels very privileged and honored to organize around issues that are dear to her heart. Born in Guadalajara Jalisco, Mexico, Mayra immigrated to Utah at the age of 11 and has been organizing in her community since she was 15. In 2014, she received her accreditation from the U.S Department of Justice that allows her as a non-attorney to practice immigration law before USCIS. She received a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Utah.
