Hannah Werth
Hannah Werth is the High School Transitions Coordinator at the Refugee Education Center (REC) in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In this role, Hannah works to ensure older refugee students access appropriate English language services, educational development plans, and college and career readiness resources. She also provides training and support to students’ families, mentors, foster parents, case workers, and school personnel. She previously spent nine years in a residential home through Bethany Christian Services as an Educational Coordinator for Unaccompanied Refugee Minors. She is a former middle/high school ESL teacher in the Grand Rapids Public Schools.
