Jannette Diep
Jannette Diep is the Executive Director for Boat People SOS –Houston (BPSOS-HOUSTON) and has been with the organization since 2008, an independently incorporated local branch of a national community-based organization with a 44-year history of meeting the needs of the Vietnamese and other Asian community. The Houston branch provide direct social services such as health, literacy, disaster recovery and including legal services in immigration and family law to low income and underserved immigrants and refugees in Southeast Texas and along the Gulf Coast communities. Jannette is a graduate from Louisiana State University and is serving on the Mayor's Advisory Council of New Americans and Empowering Community Initiative Leadership Council.
