Vivian Huang

Vivian works alongside immigrant and refugee communities to build power and create a world of love and justice. From an immigrant family, she was raised with the principles of living in the world of possibility, and making ideas tangible. For over a decade, Vivian has played a leadership role at APEN in advancing collective strategy for just transition and systemic change, catalyzing innovative models, and deepening our embodiment of feminisms and shared power. Before APEN, Vivian worked on policy, and budget campaigns, including model policies to improve health care interpretation, and a successful effort to support immigrant parents that made a conservative β€œtop bills to kill list.” Vivian finds joy in dance parties with her kid and doggy, somatics and healing, masterpieces by Wong Kar Wai and Octavia Butler, and cake, or ice cream.
