Jelmarie (Juno) Maldonado is the Deputy Director of Narrative at Equis, where she leads initiatives focused on reshaping the cultural and political experiences of Latinos in the U.S. through strategic narrative design. Previously, Juno served as Senior Research Manager at Define American, where she spearheaded award-winning mixed-method research projects, including the groundbreaking "Change the Narrative, Change the World: The Power of Immigrant Representation" study. With a master’s degree in Human Rights and a background in data analysis and audience engagement, Juno integrates culturally competent research with a commitment to authentic representation, ensuring that stories from marginalized communities are not only told but heard.
