Adriana Portillo
Adriana is a bilingual social worker with years of experience dedicated to advancing language access policy and promoting inclusivity in public services. Currently, she serves as the Language Access Coordinator in the City of Dallas’ Office of Equity and Inclusion, where she develops and implements policies to ensure language access across city departments. Her work involves tracking and analyzing data to enhance these initiatives and building partnerships that make city resources accessible to non-English-speaking communities. She also has previous roles in cultural programming, budget management, and community-focused policy that has shaped her commitment to equity-centered, data-informed solutions that empower all communities to thrive. She holds a Master’s in Social Work with a concentration in Community and Administrative Practices from the University of Texas at Arlington.
