Brandon Wu
Brandon Wu oversees research, advocacy, coalition building and campaigning work on issues such as economic justice, land rights, and food systems for ActionAid USA, the U.S. office of an international development organization with a presence in 70+ countries worldwide. He leads ActionAid’s work on international climate justice, approaching the problem of climate change from the perspective of sustainable development and rights of impacted people. His work in this capacity has focused on climate finance for countries in the Global South, fairness and equity in the global climate regime, and climate-induced migration and displacement. He currently serves on the Boards of Directors of the US Climate Action Network and the Institute for Agriculture and Trade Policy. Brandon has previous professional experience working on domestic environmental policy and trade justice and has a long history of personal activism as a labor organizer and immigrant justice campaigner.
