Elizabeth Alex
Elizabeth Alex is the Chief of Organizing and Leadership at CASA. Since coming to CASA in 2005, she has played a critical role in expanding the organization and developing member leaders, including opening offices and creating new member committees in Baltimore, Maryland and York, Pennsylvania. She currently leads a team of 25 organizing and support staff charged with building committees of members to drive progressive issue and civic engagement campaigns at the local, state, and national levels on defending immigrant and working class families and promoting racial and economic justice. Alex holds an MSW in Management and Community Organizing from the University of Maryland/Baltimore.
