Susan Collins

Susan Collins is a 17-year veteran of the U.S. Congress and former Chief of Staff to Rep. Luis V. Gutiérrez. She helped author the first comprehensive immigration reform (CIR) bill, guided the first successful effort to pass the DREAM Act in the House and played a critical role in Congress to fight for deportation relief for immigrant youth and families. As NPNA’s current Director of Policy and Advocacy she advocates for federal, state and local policies that protect immigrants’ inclusion, path to full citizenship and participation in our democracy.
