Joaquín Carcaño
Joaquín Carcaño is the Director of Community Organizing for the Latino Commission on AIDS, Latinos in the South program working regionally from North Carolina to Texas. He is a queer, transgender Mexican-American man from the Rio Grande Valley of the Texas-Mexico border. He has experience in HIV care linkage and navigation programs for the Latinx community and is a member of the Southern AIDS Coalition Board of Directors.
