Elisa Neira
Elisa Neira is a Deputy Commissioner at the New Jersey Department of Human Services where she oversees the Division of Family Development, the Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired, the Division of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing and the Division of Disability Services. Previously, Neira worked in local government for the Princeton Municipality as the director of Human Services, where she led the development and implementation of Princeton’s first Community Needs Assessment to identify needs and service gaps of low-to-moderate income households. In both positions, Neira has played a key role in the administrations’ welcoming community efforts.
