Andrew Selee

Andrew Selee is President of the Migration Policy Institute. Previously, he spent 17 years at the Woodrow Wilson Center, where he founded the Center’s Mexico Institute and later served as Executive Vice President. He has worked as staff in the U.S. Congress and with migrant youth and local communities in Tijuana, Mexico. He was part of the leadership team that put together the MPI Task Force on Immigration and America’s Future and the Regional Migration Study Group, and has taught courses at Johns Hopkins University and George Washington University. He holds a PhD in Public Policy from the University of Maryland.
