Tea Rozman
Tea Rozman, Ph.D., is an oral historian and Co-Director of Minneapolis-based Green Card Voices (GCV). Previously, she worked with the Reconciliation and Culture Cooperative Network in New York City, a nonprofit supporting immigrants from the former Yugoslavia. Tea holds a master’s degree in Near and Middle Eastern Studies from New York University and a Ph.D. in Cultural History from the University of Nova Gorica, specializing in oral history. A first-generation immigrant from Slovenia, she is a 2015 Archibald Bush Leadership Fellow and a 2021 OHA-NEH Fellow. Under her leadership, Green Card Voices has documented the stories of over 500 immigrants and refugees from 145 countries across 12 states. Tea has co-edited numerous award-winning anthologies featuring these narratives, receiving accolades from Kirkus, Forward Reviews, Moonbeam, and the I Am Your Neighbor Books project. Her work continues to amplify diverse immigrant voices, fostering cross-cultural understanding and community connection.
