TRANG TRUONG‑HILL
Trang Truong-Hill has over 19 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, starting with the YMCA of Greater Long Beach, where she worked with immigrant youth and families. In 2013, she joined YMCA of the USA as Director for Newcomer Engagement and Global Services, overseeing efforts to strengthen local Ys' capacity to engage immigrant communities. She leads the YMCA’s New American Welcome Centers and manages partnerships during National Welcoming Week. Passionate about youth development and supporting Asian American & Pacific Islander (AAPI) leaders, Trang co-founded Celebrate Argyle, an initiative highlighting the diversity of Chicago’s immigrant-owned businesses on Asia on Argyle. She also serves as board chair of Project:VISION, a nonprofit in Chicago’s Chinatown, working to meet the evolving needs of students and families, while fostering the next generation of leaders.
