Sara Jameel Le Brusq
Sara Jameel Le Brusq serves as the interim president of New American Leaders and NAL Action fund. An appreciation for the opportunities America had afforded her Syrian and Irish grandparents, who resettled in New York, was strongly reflected in her upbringing, and has inspired her work in strengthening an inclusive democracy. Previously Sara served as Vice President for Latino Victory Project, an organization that works to advance Latino civic engagement and help elect progressive Latino leaders to office. Prior to that, Sara worked in the Democratic Participation and Governance division at the Ford Foundation. Sara completed her M.S. in Global Affairs at New York University while working in the office of philanthropist and global financier George Soros, and Executive Program for Nonprofit Management at Georgetown University.
